Events this week 🗓️

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Let’s get to the good stuff.

  • Hear Beatles classics reimagined by a live string quartet inside Nashville’s Parthenon, lit entirely by candles. It’s a different kind of “Beatles night out” that feels more cinematic than bar band.

  • January 30, 2026 | 6:30 PM | The Parthenon

  • The Globetrotters bring their 100-year celebration tour to Smashville with high-flying dunks, ridiculous trick shots, and kid-friendly comedy. Great pick if you’re looking for something that works for families and visiting relatives.

  • January 31, 2026 | 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM | Bridgestone Arena

  • If you want something left-of-center, this tongue-in-cheek "cowboylesque" production leans into camp, country, and spectacle. Think honky-tonk energy with Vegas flair in one of Nashville’s classic multi-room venues.

  • January 31, 2026 | 8:30 PM | Cannery Hall

  • A midday songwriter round where hit writers tell the stories behind the songs you hear on country radio. If you want the “real Nashville” experience, this is a high-hit-rate matinee.

  • January 31, 2026 | 12:30 PM | 3rd & Lindsley

  • More than 30 local spots are slinging $8 hot chicken specials all week, from classic heat to wild, one-off creations. Build your own mini tour, compare spice levels, and vote on your favorites before the week wraps Sunday night.

  • January 26 – February 6, 2026 | Various times | Citywide

  • Wrap Dry (or Damp) January with a daytime vinyl party in the sky at White Limozeen. Expect DJs spinning records, low-ABV and zero-proof cocktails, and a very Instagram-friendly rooftop backdrop.

  • January 31, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM | White Limozeen at the Graduate Nashville

  • A biscuit pop-up slinging over-the-top builds (think brisket, seasonal jams, and more) inside the Farmers’ Market. Easy add-on if you’re already downtown or want a casual brunch-y stop.

  • January 31, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Nashville Farmers’ Market

  • Reserve a heated winter cabin or an ice curling lane and lean into the cold with views of the downtown skyline. It’s a cozy, "après-ski in the city" vibe—great for groups who want something seasonal but still social.

  • Through March 1, 2026 (including Jan 29–Feb 1) | Reservations required | Fogg Street Lawn Club

  • The zoo lights up with hundreds of oversized Chinese lanterns, illuminated tunnels, and a festive midway-style setup. Bundle up and treat this like a nighttime stroll-through art show.

  • Thursdays–Sundays through February 8, 2026 | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Nashville Zoo at Grassmere

  • A three-hour Sunday-night reset with rooftop yoga, a sound bath, spa access, and a tea bar at The Joseph. If you’ve gone hard on hot chicken and late nights, this is how you land the weekend softly.

  • February 1, 2026 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Rose Spa at The Joseph Nashville

Concerts you don’t want to miss 🎶

  • A stacked lineup of Nashville ringers (including Miranda Lambert’s bandleader Danny Mitchell and players tied to Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, and more) steps out from the background for a front-of-stage showcase. If you like hearing the pros cut loose in an intimate room, this is the Thursday play.

  • January 29, 2026 | 7:00 PM (doors 6:00 PM) | 3rd & Lindsley

  • Celebrate a century of the Opry with a loaded classic-country bill inside the most famous room in Nashville. Expect legends, surprise guests, and a very Nashville Friday night you can bring out-of-towners to with zero hesitation.

  • January 30, 2026 | 7:00 PM | Grand Ole Opry House

  • Spend Friday night with Broadway and TV favorite Matthew Morrison in a seated, glass-of-wine setting. Expect a mix of show tunes, standards, and stories in a room built for vocals first.

  • January 30, 2026 | 7:30 PM (doors 6:00 PM) | City Winery Nashville

  • Southern storyteller Paul Thorn brings his mix of grit, gospel, and banter to one of the city’s best listening rooms. It’s the kind of show where you walk out feeling like you were part of the story, not just watching it.

  • January 31, 2026 | 8:00 PM | 3rd & Lindsley

  • Watch the Oscar-winning film "Amadeus" on the big screen while the Nashville Symphony and chorus perform Mozart’s score live. It’s one of the most impressive ways to see a movie in Nashville—and a great excuse to dress up for the Schermerhorn.

  • January 31 & Feb 1, 2026 | 7:30 PM | Schermerhorn Symphony Center

Stay in the know 🗞️
